Juicy tomato beefburgers

Serves 3-6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500g Extra lean mince beef/lamb
  • ½ Large onion - chopped
  • 4 Heaped tbsp fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp parsley or mixed herbs
  • 2 Tbsp tomato puree
  • Dash worcester sauce

EQUIPMENT:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Knife
  • Teaspoon
  • Tablespoon
  • Wooden psoon
  • Pastry brush
  • Greaseproof paper

METHOD:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 190°C/375°F or Gas mark 5
  2. Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper
  3. Put mince, onion, breadcrumbs, herbs, tomato puree and Worcester sauce in a bowl and mix well
  4. Using well floured hand shape into 6 flattened rounds
  5. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes until browned and cooked through
  6. Serve burgers with bread buns, salad and sauce
