Legal Issues

To make informed choices about drug use it's important to understand more than just the physical and psychological risks of use, but also the legal implications.

Drugs & the Law - Most Club Drugs like cocaine and MDMA are class A drugs in the UK- this means if you are found in possession of either of these, you could face a 7 year prison sentence.

If you’re found in possession of more than enough for yourself, you could be charged with ‘intent to supply’. Say goodbye to that degree and big career and hello four walls of HMP.

Drink driving or driving under the influence is not only dangerous but stupid. You could kill yourself, your mates and pedestrians or other road users. Plan your night and get a cab home. Drugs like cocaine stay in your system for approximately 3 days and cannabis can last up to 28 days.

If you’re caught by the police with drugs it’s more than likely this will go down on your criminal record - meaning future employers will be less likely to employ you and your dreams of working abroad are over.
